India: A Delicate Balance
India is a very old country with contrasts that go beyond our American experience. There is opulence and survival, beauty and decay, wilderness and development, and a spirit to prosper and a spirit to exist. All of which are the delicate balance that is part of this country’s everyday experience. The images in this portfolio attempts to express the tension in these realities.
Bhutan: A Spiritual Kingdom
Bhutan, as old as India, is another reality. Faced with the similar struggles, it has emerged with a very different personality. While poverty and under development exist, there is an atmosphere of progress that pervades this country. A particular kind of Buddhism, different from than the Buddhism found in India, Tibet and China, provides the basis for this Kingdom. The work in this portfolio tries to express the deep spiritualism that surrounds this mountain kingdom, whose guiding principle is “Gross National Happiness”.
This Desktop Calendar comes in a CD case that folds back to form a simple stand that displays the calendar pages.

If you're like me, you forget birthdays. There are probably some you don't mind forgetting, but I'm sure there are others that mean a lot to you.
This little Birthday Calendar can help. By simply writing the name of the person whose birthday you want to remember on their special day in the calendar, you will have a permanent record for the future. As you rotate the cards from month to month and then year to year you will always be reminded of those special days.
Now all I need to do is figure out a way to remember to rotate the cards every month. Oh well, one step at a time.
